Burnout Isn’t Always the Problem
Feeling exhausted doesnt mean you are burnt out. Sometimes it means that you have outgrown the life or career you are currently living
Ask yourself….
- Am I constantly exhausted?
- Have I lost my motivation?
- Do I feel disconnected from my work?
- Do I keep thinking, “I can’t do this anymore”?
- Am I simply going through the motions?
Feeling exhausted doesn’t always mean you’re burnt out. Sometimes it means you’ve outgrown the life or career you’re currently living
They’re stuck.
- They’re working in jobs they’ve outgrown.
- They’re saying yes when they want to say no.
- They’re carrying responsibilities that no longer align with who they are.
- The exhaustion isn’t always coming from the workload.
Sometimes it’s coming from living a life that no longer fits.
I recently spoke to someone who told me they were completely burnt out.
When we dug a little deeper, they weren’t tired of working.
They were tired of pretending they still enjoyed a career they’d mentally left years ago.
That’s a very different problem.
Ask Yourself:
- Do I still enjoy what I do?
- Am I tired, or am I unfulfilled?
- If I could start again tomorrow, would I choose this path?
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is admit that what once worked for you no longer does!.
